Did I mention that taking pictures of dolls outside is difficult, when it’s not only windy but when the doll in question has big hair? It is. But at least it makes for a nice post title, so I won’t complain.Ā
I had fun with Willow yesterday, he is so small that he can sit on a twig. While I was taking the picture of Willow sitting on a branch, a bluetit landed right next to him. This branch is their usual landing spot before they hop into one of my many bird feeders. I would have loved a picture of the two of them, but when I raised the camera the bird flew away. I guess you will have to imagine it.
The birds are also the reason I had to make do with my rambler rose to take the picture of him in his hammock. There are birds building their nests in almost every bush in my garden, and I didn’t want to disturb them.
Oh this is a wonderful photoshoot Mia., Willow makes a fabulous model. The settings you have used and the different poses are all beautiful. I almost felt like I was in the forest with him. š

Beautiful photo shoot! It’s hard to pick a favourite photo, but the one with Willow in the hammock is awesome. But, they all are, actually. š Willow is a very cute and photogenic doll.
How great that so many birds are making nests in your garden, I hope you’ll be able to take some pictures when the eggs come out, of the little ones. š
Thank you! The birds like my garden, or rather my bird feeders. And I always have to make sure there’s no very obvious bird poop in the picture. It’s everywhere :D. When I planned the garden I tried to chose bird- and bee friendly plants and it seems to work. I will try to take some pictures of the fledgelings when they are old enough.
