My long awaited Raccoon Daisy arrived! I ordered her during the 30% discount event sale period in September, and she’s the last new doll to arrive this year. Isn’t that a nice start into a new year? Here she is, blank and lovely. I have no ideas for her character yet, she will stay in her box until I know who she will be. Daisy was just one of those dolls I had on my wish list for ages.
And since I haven’t posted them yet, two other dolls that arrived in December: A Kurhn and the Xinyi. They still have their original faces. But they will get a repaint, and I will probably give the Kurhn girl a hair cut. She has very long curly hair, almost down to her knees. They have very different faces, but both are very gentle looking dolls. While the Kurhn doll has an open and young girl face, the Xinyi looks more ladylike and a bit reserved. They are smaller than Barbie, and both have multiple joints. The Xinyi has double jointed knees, she can kneel. Unfortunately I broke off her neck, but I was able to fix it.
This is the last day of 2020, and my last post for this year.
Congratulations on your new arrivals Mia, looks like we are both off to a good start. I don’t know if it’s a common thing with the Kurhn dolls, but I had the same problem with the length of the hair and also cut mine, otherwise being curly, she would have looked like a real boufhead. LOL!
Big hugs,
X
Thank you! I think it’s a common thing with most dolls. But better too long than too short, right?
Congratulations Mia with your new ladies! I look forward to seeing their transformation. Wishing you a wonderful year! Hugs!
Thank you dear! And a wonderful year to you too 🙂
