Greta is a year and a half older than Bran. She is almost 13, and it’s an awkward age. Greta would like to be as cool as Freya and her friends, but she is very much a kid at other times. She likes to hang out with Antonia and Rosalie, even though they are younger. Greta genuinely likes them, but she sometimes thinks they’re so childish and embarrassing. Not that she wouldn’t enjoy playing jumpsies for example, she just doesn’t want to be seen enjoying it.

When she’s alone with Rosalie they do talk about fashion or bands sometimes, but Rosalie is not particularly interested in comparing nail polish colors and she doesn’t really have an opinion on which of the boys at school are cute. Not that Greta is constantly thinking about things like that, but those are the moments when she feels that she doesn’t really have anyone to talk to, really.

Greta plays dolls with Theresa and still loves to dress them, but she put her own dolls in a box because she thinks she’s too old for them. She still loves her Arielle nighty, but she thinks about what to wear a lot more often than she did only a year ago. Greta feels embarrassed when her shirts are too tight and she hates that she isn’t taller. Sometimes at least. Other times she just doesn’t care, and she spends the day in leggings and a shirt.

Her mom is glad that she is not moping around just as much as Freyja did at the same age. Greta doesn’t have a lot of mood swings, she is generally quite content with her life. And even though she’s often feeling insecure about her looks, she’s not really unhappy about her appearance. Well, except for her hair, maybe. She tried to dye her hair pink, but it didn’t go as planned. Freya told her the pinkish streaks looked good on her, but Greta still hopes it’ll wash out soon.

Greta loves horses and she’s dreaming of riding lessons. She collects mugs, notepads and other things with horse pictures printed on them, and she tries to learn how to draw and paint them.
