Theresa Arend

Theresa is a very curious little girl, and almost as wild as her hair. Unlike Rosalie, who tried to avoid getting dirty even as a toddler, Theresa doesn’t mind smearing mud, finger paint or other substances all over her clothes. Theresa loves to try new words, and she sings made up songs repeating them. She asks a lot of questions, and she loves to tell everybody she meets what she learned that day. If she can’t find a willing listener, she tells her dolls.

Pretend play is another favorite, Theresa can spend hours playing with her dolls and bears. Rosalie loves entertaining her little sister, but she is glad when Theresa is happily playing on her own.

Theresa is fascinated by Antonia’s curls, and since she has learned how to plait, her family gets creative new hairdos as soon as they sit down in reach of her little hands. Theresa rarely throws a tantrum, but when she does, it can take hours until she calms down. But all in all she has a sunny disposition, and Rosalie and Antonia don’t mind to include her in their activities.
