One of the least photographed dolls in my collection is Enoch. His white skin and the first cowl I made for him are incredibly difficult to photograph, at least for me. The dark brown fabric and white skin create such a contrast that my photography skills are not sufficient enough to capture the details of his face paint. I had planned to make a new habit for him for ages, a lighter one. And obviously postponed the plan for years.
But now I did it. And I spent hours on the embroidered Moonchild symbol on the chest. I am quite happy with the result. In addition to the color problem his face is not really photogenic, he can look tragic and mystical at certain angles and like a startled proteus when the angle isn’t right. I hope the olm-factor isn’t too obvious in this little gallery.

Enoch looks great in his new habit, and your embroidery is awesome, it’s very impressive work! I like Enoch’s face a lot, and in this photo series he certainly is photogenic. Great to see more of him!

I agree with Linda about your embroidery Mia, wonderful needle work. I’m not sure about Enoch, he looks a little scary to me. However, I think you’ve done a great job of the painting on his dome. 🙂

Oh wow, he looks so amazing. I love his face up and the symbols on his head. The outfit is fantastic and really sets off his vibe so well. He seems like a very intriguing character. And I get you on meaning to sew things for your dolls – I’m the same. I’m only just learning how to sew fantasy style clothing for mine and it is slow going!
