Daring emerald

I am currently working on a Qipao/Cheongsam pattern with variations, and this one was just a quick pattern test for the stretchy fabric pattern. I used an emerald green remnant for this, I believe it’s lycra. Shiny fabric is usually not my favorite choice, but I liked the result so much that I added the emerald pendant and the tiny golden embellishment to turn the mock up into a proper dress. It’s a fun mixture of daring cleavage and modest high-necked collar, and I chose Melisande because of her hair color. It’s not her style, but it suits her surprisingly well.

  1. Love this colour on her, it’s really good colour for a redhead. 🙂 I also like the style of dress with the jewel pendant and Cheongsam influence.

    1. Thank you! I was actually surprised that it looks so nice. If you see a large piece of that fabric it just looks shiny and cheap – wich it probably was.

  2. She looks amazing in this dress! Even, if it is not her style. I love you added the pendant – it changes everything.
