Or rather I am happily equipped with a new computer. I had my trustworthy good old iMac doing it’s job for almost 14 years until it couldn’t be started a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately old iMacs need to be opened with some sort of suction tool to take the front screen out, and that needed to be done by an expert. The hard disk was still intact though and could be saved, so all the data was still there. You can’t imagine how relieved I was when I was told all I needed was an Icy box to connect the harddrive to a new computer to get my files back. The new computer is a PC running Windows 11, and it took some time getting used to it. I got an external Samsung T7 drive for all my doll stuff now and I am amazed at it’s speed. But as you might have experienced yourself at some point, setting up a new computer takes time. I am glad my dolls have been waiting patiently :).
And since I have been busy with all the technical issues, my three latest arrivals still have no faces. At least my Raccoon Mini Dahlia is finished, but I haven’t decided who will be related to her. I think she might be a niece of Viveca, the two of them have the largest eyes. But at least she has a name:Â Theresa. And she already made friends with Antonia.
I hope I didn’t bore you with the computer stuff- it has been a lot more complicated really, but now I can concentrate on the hobby again. Antonia and Theresa both have green outfits ready to enjoy the Spring. Have a lovely Sunday!
