Antonia’s blue blouse and skirt, Greta’s striped blouses and the blue dress with the little beads are made from the same pattern. The turquoise cotton dress is one of the plain dresses, but I think the colour doesn’t need any extras.

A simple shirt with little dots, jeans shorts and a bit of sibling abuse…

This shirt has a light blue neckline to match the jersey pants. The melange jersey pants are part of a set, she has a jacket to go with it. The light yellow shirt and off-white corduroy pants need the red jacket for the color contrast, and I like how the color looks with her hair.

Her eyes are a beautiful bright blue (I found them at fleurdelysdolls), and I think colors with a bluish tint look best on her.

That said, they make nice props, and that’s why my kids have phones now.

They were made with little effort, I just wanted some phones to use as props in pictures. First I googled “smart phone home screen” and chose some pictures. I thought of making one with chat bubbles and a keyboard, but that turned out to be hardly recognizable in that size. I scaled the home screen images down to approximately 20mm width, and measured the length to cut my cardboard accordingly.

I used some dark silvery grey nail polish to paint the cardboard. For the camera on the back I chose sequins or black beads. A little glue, and my girls have phones!

The bag belongs to Freyja, and I made that using my bag patterns

I made the phone for the women a little larger than the kid phones.

Maybe you get inspired and your dolls will get some phones, too!

A couple of new characters are waiting for eyes or clothes before I can introduce them properly. I ordered eyes weeks ago and they have not arrived yet. But at least some of my girls have new jackets.

Stella hasn’t been in front of the camera for ages, and since she loves jeans she’s the first to receive a new jeans jacket.

And now I need to find a wig and eyes for her. I tried several from my stash. And brown and green eyes. Her name will be Freyja, and I think she’s a quiet girl.

Which one do you like best? My favorite is the ash blonde wavy one with brown eyes.

This one is my favorite combination. The light wasn’t great, the hair color is a little lighter than it looks in the picture, it’s a soft gold color.

Rosalie and Theresa chose dresses with flowers for you and Rosalie has new white boots.

She is lovely and elfin with long, slim limbs and neck.

Her proportions and the body’s aesthetic differ from the women and kid dolls. Her limbs look very thin and fragile, especially lower legs and ankles. Her hands are smaller than those of the kid dolls and her feet are very narrow. Once they are all dressed she will fit in as a teen quite nicely, though.

The kids are a bit sturdy in comparison to the women, and the teen girl is a bit more on the slim side. But on her own she would make a lovely woman doll with mature proportions with a slightly more fragile aesthetic.

She came with heel feet, and I guess there are probably shoes out there that fit her. Her feet are too narrow for YOSD shoes, unfortunately. You can put sneakers on her feet, but open shoes fall right off. She can wear Rachel’s shoes (Taeyang size), so I guess some Tonner doll shoes or Action figure woman shoes might fit. I can’t tell since I don’t own any in that size. Unfortunately her legs tend to snap forward.

Rosalie has a new shawl.

Bell grabbed the jeans jacket before any of the other girls could claim it, and she looks great in it. I used some of the multicolor wool Kamelia gave me to knit a shawl and a hat for her. The colors are a great match for her pink wig. Look at those tiny buttons! Bell loves this jacket, and so do I. Thank you so much!

Judith shows off the flower print hoodie. It has real pockets at the front.

Solveig likes her new shawl, this wool was also a gift from Kamelia. I don’t know if it’s mohair, it certainly has the look and feel of it.
