I have been working in the garden for eight hours yesterday, and today I took a little break to take some pictures. The weather is lovely, and I wanted to use two free days to do some things like digging up a bush and planting it somewhere else, weeding and planting lots of plants and germlings in pots. After the rain last week the garden exploded in forget-me-not blue, and those have spread everywhere. They look lovely with my white phlox divaricata.

Babes and boots

The post title sounds like something out of a biker magazine, but my babes are fully dressed. I sometimes amuse myself with viewing the blog statistics, and there are some posts that seem to be rather popular, as far as search result clicks go. Stuff like a post titled ‘Hand jobs’. I wonder what people were searching for ;-).

All the boots in this post fit JIDs, Raccoon, FID girls and Myou girls. I ordered most of them from Dollmansion, but I have seen them in a lot of shops. They are MSD size and with under 20$ on the affordable side.

June’s black and white boots are a bit higher and wider than the brown boots Cinna is wearing.
They come in black, white, pink, light blue and lavender, all with a white trim on both sides.

The white and gold version looks a bit too glittery for my taste, I mistook the gold for light brown. I should have read the description before buying them.

Roux loves her jeans colored boots. I use to replace the thick laces with finer ones, or at least cut the shoe laces they come with to a more manageable length.

The boots Judith is wearing are regular unisex Dollzone boots, they are a bit bulky compared to the slim feet size of the boots below, but they work with this outfit.

Flowery progress

My garden is more or less finished. But my appartment is such a mess at the moment that I can’t even move the diorama to a place where it would get sufficient light for proper pictures.

We have a water pipe leak in the house, and since last week I have a huge hole in my bathroom wall. The pipes have been exchanged already, but now the walls need to be dried with a huge dryer. It’s noisy and annoying. The door needs to stay closed, so the cat’s litter box had to be moved elsewhere. All the stuff I usually keep in the bathroom is all over the place. I feel crowded by the mess.

Since I can’t take ‘proper’ pictures of my garden yet, we’ll have to make do with a sneak peek -and rather crappy light.

I wanted to take some autumn pictures with Cinna and June wearing their twin style coats, but it is either dark when I come home or it’s raining. Today though was the first day with that kind of golden autumn light I wanted. I would have loved some maple leaves, but it has been so dry for such a long time that they turned brown a while ago. No brilliant colors this year.

Cinnamon & Juniper aka Cinna & June
These two are my inseparable twin sisters Cinnamon and Juniper, almost always called Cinna and June. June is a couple of minutes older, but she doesn’t mind that Cinna is the first mentioned if people talk about them or call them. They are both very gentle and sweet, June is the quieter one.

Cinna & June are herb elves, they can make spices and herbs grow and know all about their properties. That is, they will when they’ve grown up, until then they are just elfin fifteen year old girls who are still learning.

They love music, singing, dancing in the rain, each other and they like to sew twin style dresses. They are almost never dressed exactly alike, and they are glad that some quirk of nature gave them different eye colours, but they like to look like the perfect complement to each other. And they are. They both like the colours their names suggest, Cinna brown and red, and June blue and green.

Twin arrival

My twins arrived this morning :). I ordered them in April from Alice’s Collection during special discount event period, and I am glad Myou seems to have a lot of orders and their waiting times are longer.

The twins are Delias in normal skin. Lily is a MYou doll as well and I knew what to expect, but once again I am very pleased with the quality. They are carefully sanded, not a single seam or even a speck of dust. They came with basic underwear, a face mask and glass eyes. I just wish they would offer more hand parts.

Their names will be Cinnamon and Juniper, short Cinna & June. I hope I can make time to give them a face soon. They won’t be exactly alike, I am thinking of different color schemes, brownish for Cinnamon and blue green for Juniper.

Happy :). Now that I have twins, they will show off a lot of twin-style dresses. I have to admit, that’s the reason I wanted them.
