I was very tempted to turn her into some kind of sorrowful, tragic character, but there is already a perfect tragic Harace out there. It's a very stunning doll owned by Kasia Nowak, and I didn't want to copy her. I like her as delicate redhead, and wistful is a good word to describe her features. I don't want to think of her as too sad.

I love reading about your characters–they are always so well thought out. I really like Melisande's faceup. It's nice to see how owners interpret the sculpts (and refreshing compared to the sameness of the company faceups). She looks wistful, as if she really misses dancing but doesn't want to complain.
